More than 15 years of experience in financial consulting and transaction advisory in Africa.
Renaud graduated from Paris-Sorbonne University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics (2002), and a Master of Science in Money, Banking and Finance (2003).
Prior to co-founding Gibraltar Advisory in 2009, Renaud worked for Axelcium, a financial advisory firm specialized in PPP projects in Africa.
Renaud has acted as financial advisor to States and / or private operators in more than twenty infrastructure projects in Africa (port terminals in Côte d'Ivoire, the new Donsin airport in Burkina Faso, sanitation and desalination units in Tunisia, etc.).
Renaud is also involved in fundraising and Mergers & Acquisitions transactions.
More than 15 years of experience in financial consulting and transaction advisory in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Hatem graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris in 2003 where he specialized in Financial Mathematics, Strategy and Finance.
Prior to co-founding Gibraltar Advisory in 2009, Hatem worked at Ernst & Young in Paris, Société Générale CIB Paris and Swicorp (KSA, Tunis).
Hatem worked on several M&A, project finance and fundraising transactions on behalf of International Donors and Private Equity Funds. Hatem’s experience span an extensive range of sectors (transport, agro-industry, pharmaceutical industry, textile, renewable energy, telecom, hotel industry, waste management, water, etc.)
More than 25 years of experience in projects design, implementation and change management consulting in Africa and France, with a strong emphasis on public administration modernization, trade facilitation (customs, ports, special economic zones), health institutional reinforcement and support to the private sector.
Cédric is an M.A graduate in Investment banking & financial services from Reading University (UK) and also an M.A graduate in management from Paris University X.
Prior to joining Gibraltar Advisory in 2018, Cédric was head of Public Sector Consulting in Francophone Africa within Deloitte. He directed projects in Benin, Burkina-Faso, Chad, Guinea, Ivory-Coast, Morocco Senegal and Togo, on behalf of major international donors (EU, AFD, WB, ADB, UNICEF, USAID, MCC).
Since 2009, Gibraltar Advisory has intervened in a wide number of countries in Africa:
